In addition, at the time of receipt at our warehouse we can capture item serial numbers, manufacturer information, or any other information you need to better manage your assets in the online system. Importing Index Info
DocuSafe has the ability to import the index information on either boxes or files for you. If you already have the index information in electronic format, save time on data entry by requesting we import this information for you. We can send you a sample data file that shows you how to setup the import file and how to populate the fields so that your information flows to the correct fields within our EDC RC software. - DocuSafe Team HIPAA Training: On December 4th the entire DocuSafe team received training on the new updated HIPAA/HITCH laws. The new law requires companies that work with Doctors, Hospitals, Nursing Homes etc. in handling medical records to be trained in the proper care of these records. We are responsible for properly protecting PHI, i.e. patient health information. We were taught to identify the risks of exposing PHI and to continue to develop procedures to insure PHI security. We will continue to examine our procedures and continually update ourselves on the changes to the HIPAA/HITECH laws so that we remain compliant.
